Present law is based on the texts of Bible as given by Moses..first he gave 20 commandments..10 before he led the people from Egypt..and new 10 brought from the Sinai hill engraved on two stone plates..
By that time..in 40 days..the people have ditched Moses and were ready to sacrifice his wife on a God made of Gold..like today the Indian Judiciary Government Media sacrifice all Truths for money..
So the 10 commandments were Broken ! Later Moses interceded for the sinners..new plates were brought..then the Law was given ! Quran confirmed this..but Mohemmed gave new code of conduct..why ?..may be because the tribes were backwards..may be because there was a conflict of objectives..all through..between God and Michael !
I suspect that worship of calf and sacrifice of Ziphora were ideas induced by Jethro the Michael..in any case..Jethro did..in person intervened to so counsel Moses about functioning of judiciary that even till today..specially now and in India..dogs are pissing on SCI and Jethro Ideals !!!!!
